Personal interest/experience in real estate

  • Completed 9 personal real estate transactions in 3 states.
  • Earned 7 real estate certifications.
  • MBA and Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

California has been home most of my life, although I’ve lived in Washington, Massachusetts, Colorado and New York too. I earned my Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration) at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  Following graduation, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where I lived for 26 years.  I earned my MBA degree at Santa Clara University while working in the tech industry full-time.

I have owned real estate in California, Washington state and Massachusetts. Twice, I sold my homes while living in a different state; once, I purchased a home while living in a different state.  Selling a home while living away was easy by comparison to buying a home while living away.  I needed an agent who understood me and what I was looking for in a home, location, features, price, etc.  That experience was my inspiration to pursue real estate – to help others find the right home, regardless of where in the world they currently live!

I’ve worked internationally since the 1990’s. While technology makes the remote working experience easier, it does not replace the fundamental skill of listening.  In my tech days, I developed friendships with people I had never met in countries I had never traveled to – all through listening.

My travels have taken me to 20 countries in Europe, Asia and North America. I absolutely love everything international (people, history, food, local customs, art, architecture, natural scenery)!

My Promise

I promise to be the agent for you that I wanted for myself (before I became an agent!). This includes considering your objectives, goals and perspective first.  My motto is “meeting my client’s goals will meet my goals.”  Have you ever felt pressured to make a decision (buy a house, accept an offer on your house, etc.) – me too!  And, I don’t want my clients to feel that way ever again!

I promise to listen to you and what you want, whether you are buying your first home or selling your 20th property!

Contact me, and let's talk about your goals.
